This Privacy Policy explains how Go Owl Digital Ltd ("we", "us") collects and uses personal data through the ukhomequotes.co.uk website ("the Site"). We are the data controller for your personal data as defined under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

2. What we collect

When you complete the quote form, we collect: your name, email address, phone number, UK postcode, your selected service (solar, heat pump, or boiler) and any optional notes. We also collect standard analytics data — page views, referrer, device type — via Google Analytics, in aggregated form.

3. How we use it

Your quote-form details are shared only with the MCS-certified installers we match you to (maximum three per enquiry). They will contact you to provide their quote. We do not sell, rent or broker your contact details to anyone else.

Analytics data is used in aggregate to improve the Site. We do not combine analytics data with personally identifiable information.

4. Lawful basis

We rely on consent (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(a)) when you submit the quote form, and on legitimate interests for aggregate analytics to improve the Site.

5. How long we keep it

Quote-form submissions are retained for 24 months for record-keeping, then deleted. Analytics data is retained by Google Analytics per its default retention period.

6. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@goowldigital.com. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

7. Cookies

The Site uses essential cookies for security and session state, and a Google Analytics cookie for aggregate usage measurement. You can disable non-essential cookies via your browser settings.
